Background: May is the daughter of a very wealthy oil company owner who works and operates his business out of Windsor. May has grown up in the city, calling a penthouse apartment at the top of a skyscraper home since she was old enough to remember. She's never known her mother, not even her name or face, because, as May's father says, "She doesn't want us, so we don't want her." May has never questioned this, and for the most part isn't bothered by not having a female influence around. Her father takes the best care of her he can, despite often being called away on business. May was first trusted to stay alone in their suite while he was gone when she was twelve. May found the freedom to be very liberating, and took to not simply wandering their home, but wandering the streets of Windsor on her own. As a result, she grew to have a good knowledge of not just her own privileged upbringing, but also of the struggles of the working (and not working) poor. Unfortunately, where this might have made some girls more inclined to volunteer and do charity work, it just hardened May, making her certain that she's superior to all of them. Now sixteen, May is still completely assured that she's inherently better than all the people she goes to school with at the local private academy. And if crossed, she'll prove it.
Personality: May embodies many of the things that are wrong with modern American teenage culture. She is loud and obnoxious, mean spirited, selfish, overly technological, unpatriotic, and sarcastic. On the other hand, however, May is also determined, analytical, and hardworking. In short, she's the perfect girl to take over her father's oil company. If you're nice to May, and deemed worthy, she will treat you with respect. If not? You're doomed.
